Free CPD Seminar on Solutions for Ground Heave, Structural Fill, and Voc & Ground Gas Protection

As part of our  2019 CPD programme of events, we are offering another 2 FREE CPD seminars.  This seminar is taking place in early July and will  cover ‘Ground Heave, Voc & Ground Gas Protection and Structural Fill Solutions’.  The presentation is being delivered by Simon Roberts from Cordek.  Cordek were formed in 1973 and provide technical solutions for a range of construction requirements.

The CPD presentation is designed for Engineers and Architects and covers three key market sectors :-

  • Ground Heave Solutions – designed to protect floor slabs, ground beams and pile caps room the effects associated with expansive soil types
  • VOC & Ground Gas Protection – An advanced range of barriers and passive venting systems to protect buildings from the ingress of VOC’s and ground gases
  • Structural Fill Solutions – Load bearing elements of a structure or area of landscaping.  Lightweight and cost-effective alternative to traditional fill materials.

Venue  A : Council Chamber, South Norfolk House, Long Stratton
Time : 8.30 am registration with presentation starting at 9 am

Date  : Thursday, 11th July  2019  

Venue B : The Boathouse, Wisbech
Time : 8.30 am registration with presentation starting at 9 am

Cost       :  FREE
Length   :  Each seminar will be in the region of 1 hour (including questions)

There will also be an opportunity for questions at the end of the presentations.  Tea/Coffee & bacon rolls will be available during registration at both venues.
