Changes to Duty Officer Role – with effect from January 2018

As part of our commitment to customers, CNC is constantly looking at the way we work and how things can be improved.

Over recent weeks we have undertaken a review of our duty officer role. In conclusion, the role is very busy in the mornings but tails off considerably during the afternoon.

Therefore, in order to service our customers as well as we can, we have made the following amendment to this role with effect from January 2nd 2018.:

We will have 2 members of staff taking calls and dealing with queries from 8.15am until 12.30pm only. There will be NO dedicated duty officer each day after this time.

If you happen to have a technical query outside of this time then you will still have 3 options:

  1. Request a call back from our technical team for the following morning.
  2. Email
  3. Use the technical library section of our website to see if that gives you the answer you need –

Hopefully this change will help with the flow of technical queries and produce a quicker response to you, our clients.
