Notice of Publication of Revised Charging Scheme for Building Control

The Building (Local Authority Charges) Regulations 2010

On 25 September 2017, South Norfolk Council will publish its revised Charging Scheme for Building Control (referred to as the Charging Scheme) prepared under section 3 of the Building (Local Authority Charges) Regulations 2010 on behalf of Broadland District Council, Fenland District Council, the Borough Council of King’s Lynn and West Norfolk, Norwich City Council and South Norfolk District Council.

The revised Charging Scheme will come into effect on 2 October 2017. The general effect of the revised scheme is an increase in the hourly rate to ensure that costs are fully recovered.

The published Charging Scheme can be viewed by visiting the CNC Building Control website

The published Charging Scheme can be inspected Monday to Friday during normal working hours at the offices of South Norfolk Council at South Norfolk House, Cygnet Court, Long Stratton, Norfolk, NR15 2XE.

A copy will also be sent to any person on request to the Assistant Director, Resources, at the address above.
