The only name you need to know in Building Control

CNC Building Control brings together the Building Control departments of Borough Council of Kings Lynn & West Norfolk, Broadland District Council, Norwich City Council and South Norfolk Council into one cohesive partnership, sharing resources and expertise to provide a modern, flexible Building Control Service.

Most, if not all, alterations, extensions and new building work should comply with the Building Regulations.  We will ensure that your project does and will conform to these regulations by issuing a completion certificate when the project is finished.

The completion certificate is very important for two reasons;

Firstly, it confirms that the property/building complies with Building Regulations (failure can lead to enforcement action being undertaken).

And, secondly, it is required to be produced for a conveyancing solicitor on the sale of the property.  Failure to produce a certificate may lead a sale falling through or delays in the selling process.
