CNC Building Control are delighted to announce that 5 projects  in their area have been shortlisted for the East Anglia Building Excellence Awards 2018.  The awards are the largest business to business awards in the UK and are open to Building Control surveyors, builders, architects and designers for projects where the building control was provided by a local authority team.

The projects submitted by CNC which have been shortlisted are  :-

Parsons & Whittley – Best Partnership with a Local Authority Building Control Team

Heart of Gissing Community Centre – Best Public Services Building – Architect : Thurlow Architects – Contractor :  Omnis Construction

Abbotts Grange, Forncett, Norfolk – Best Volume New Housing Development – Developer : Bennett Homes

The Barns, Shouldham – Best Change of Use of an Existing Building – Architect : Swann Edwards –  Owner : Mr & Mrs Carter

Garden House, Norwich – Best Individual New Home – Contractors : DBS Building – Architect : Henry Isotta-Day

Stephen Fulcher, CNC Service Manager, commented “We are absolutely delighted that 5 of our entries have been shortlisted.  It just proves that we have some exceptional developers, architects and builders that work in our area.  We are all looking forward to a fabulous night and coming away with a few winners!”

The East Anglia Building Excellence awards winners will be announced on the evening of Friday, 29th June at Kings College in Cambridge.  The winners of each of the 12 categories will automatically be forward into the National LABC Awards, due to be held in November.
